Easter at St. Gabriel’s

Many thanks to everyone who has come along, helped out at and supported our Easter services and events here at St. Gabriel’s.

It has been such as blessing to see so many people coming together here to remember the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, join together in fellowship as we commemorated the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday, contemplate the sorrow of the crucifixion on Good Friday, and finally join together on Easter Sunday in joyful celebration of the resurrection of Our Lord that is the heart of our Christian faith.

Lent Lunch Soups

A massive thank you to  everyone who made our delicious soups!!

It was such a lovely treat to eat so many  fantastic homemade soups.

We are lucky to have such talented chefs!

Each week we took a collection and thanks to the generosity of the people who came along we raised an amazing £250 for WaterAid!!

St. Gabriel’s Church has recently appointed an Eco Church Ambassador to help us achieve our aims to be awarded Eco Church status.

Look out for new initiatives and projects coming to support our aims.
